Before Surgery
The appearance the day after surgery
shows the usual swelling and generally a good disposition.
1st Day After with Drains
Her answers to the
anesthesia questionnaire
which she completed eight days after the surgery, are as follows.
She does not remember the operation or the day of her
surgery except that she remembers a little bit of her
arrival home afterward.
She had a pleasant experience with the operation and
recovery without pain or undue discomfort.
There was no pain on the first day or the first
night. She took the first pain pill the next day.
Thereafter she took one or two pain pills each night.
She had no nausea.
She was "very comfortable" after
surgery

The pictures above show the appearance on the seventh
day after surgery. With a little makeup she is presentable.
And though she feels the swelling, it is not very
visible. She is comfortable, sleeping well and driving herself. As a
manager she has returned to her office.
